Kiss Mud Foam and Snail White Cream Review

Kiss Mud Foam and Snail White Cream from Shadz Online Shop

I was not into foreign products unknown to me. I mostly used the more popular brands that we do have on our supermarkets and beauty shops here in the country with international brand names like Olay and Dove.

A friend of mine recommended Shadz Online Shop to me a few years back. I quickly checked their products and prices noticing as I did so that they are quite expensive. But still, I was interested since they are Japanese products and was described as very mild. I have fairly sensitive skin so I mostly used mild products like Olay, Dove and others.

The products were delivered promptly, I ordered from Shadz as my friend had suggested. All the products were in pristine, sealed conditions. Upon first use, I noticed that it was mild which suits me just fine because as stated previously I have sensitive skin. If the product I use isn't mild enough, the effects will make my face itch and cause redness. I didn't get those from my first use of the mud foam.

The mud foam is black in color and slightly wet (sort of like the consistency of a very thick pancake mix) which you can either apply directly to your face sans water or after wetting your face. I noticed when I washed the stuff off, my skin had a sort of matte like finish. After drying my face (I have to be careful to wash the all the stuff off!), I then applied the Snail White cream. The cream is transparent in color and has the consistency of the firm egg white stuff enveloping the yolk. It says on the package to just pat it all over the face and not to rub it on. I don't do that most of the time, I'm kinda used with massaging the cream all over my face the way I usually do with other products I've used before.

All in all, my experience with the use of the products has been very good. I don't always use them now (mainly because I forget most of the time). I do have stocks of the stuff mixed with various Japanese products I've bought from the online shop from time to time.

The pros of the products for me: Very mild, it suits my particular need
The cons of the products for me: They are a bit expensive, the Kiss Mud Foam costs 570 pesos (that was on sale), the Snail White cream, I think was at least 1000 pesos at the time I bought it.

When in Baguio: Arca's Yard

One Sunday afternoon when all I wanted to do was catch up on sleep, my hubbie kept on asking me to go out for dinner. Feeling resigned, I got up and took a shower. I'm glad I did because we ended up having a nice family dinner at Arca's Yard. What the hell is Arca's Yard, you might ask? Well, Arca's Yard is a café museum and mini library located at Tiptop, Ambuklao Road in Baguio City. It has a collection of books, photographs, paintings, artifacts like wooden spoons and spears, and wood bust carvings among others. The café is located in a very high place, meaning the view in their terraces are to die for. Going there is very easy, if you don't mind the somewhat narrow road (in my mind, at least) and the many road constructions that goes there for the time being. The directions can easily be found in your phone's Maps if you have it in your phone. But otherwise, you can find it here .

Microtel Baguio - Hotel Review

Way back in September 2014, me with my husband and our daughter decided to go Baguio. Nothing spectacular, just wanting to get out our house for awhile and see some different sights. Having arrived early in the evening and no idea about accommodations whatsoever, we decided to check out this hotel located conveniently very close to the bus terminal. Microtel is just a short walk from the bus terminal. It was a very nice hotel with such nice rooms as seen below.
