One of my daughter's clay masterpieces I've been a mother of one (yes, one child), to a bright and beautiful daughter, for ten years. In all that time, I've heard countless of unsolicited (and mostly, irritating) comments and advice on why I should have another child. I'm currently pregnant, in the first trimester, with our second child. That said, I decided to write a post about the things told to me over the years for having an only child. These are the things said to me by people over the years: 1) It's pitiful that my daughter ...
One Sunday afternoon when all I wanted to do was catch up on sleep, my hubbie kept on asking me to go out for dinner. Feeling resigned, I got up and took a shower. I'm glad I did because we ended up having a nice family dinner at Arca's Yard. What the hell is Arca's Yard, you might ask? Well, Arca's Yard is a café museum and mini library located at Tiptop, Ambuklao Road in Baguio City. It has a collection of books, photographs, paintings, artifacts like wooden spoons and spears, and wood bust carvings among others. The café is located in a very high place, meaning the view in their terraces are to die for. Going there is very easy, if you don't mind the somewhat narrow road (in my mind, at least) and the many road constructions that goes there for the time being. The directions can easily be found in your phone's Maps if you have it in your phone. But otherwise, you can find it here .
